Business & Entrepreneur FLF Seminar
London, United Kingdom
6-9 November 2014
EMC Congress &
FLF Connect Seminar
Budapest, Hungary
12-15 November 2015

48 Maccabi young FLF leaders from 22 countries came to the FLF Connect Seminar which was held in parallel to the EMC Congress where the new EMC Executive was elected. The aim of the seminar was to connect the young potential leaders with the Heads of Maccabi territorial organizations. After having had a lot of networking events and sessions about the future Maccabi projects, the FLF members became more motivated to get involved in their community and already created own projects.

One of the highlights of the leadership sessions was the presentation of the producers of the Oscar-nominated movie, Son of Saul, who gave some management tips to the participants by using case studies.

The seminar was also celebration because some of the FLF members became the board members of the Maccabi organizations. Furthermore the FLF participants could take part in the EMG presentations at the EMC Congress where Budapest got the opportunity to organize the next European Maccabi Games in 2019.

The aim of the seminar is to focus on the local community projects and the relationships involved in creating them. To give the best skills to our members, we provide sessions about the following topics:

- business relationship management,  - community building, - creative event management,  - new media,  - positive leadership,  - fundraising,

- local Maccabi projects,  - Jewish identity as a social power.

60 participants from all over the world inspired, learnt and practiced together. As the result of the seminar, we are happy to announce that the Maccabi Community Fun Run goes global this year thanks to our great FLF members. Instead of two cities, in 2016 we will organize the Fun Run Community and Charity day in 7 cities in Europe. The main organizers of the local events are our young professionals who have been educated via the Future Leaders Forum seminars.
